Steve Jobs was not a Pastor, Prophet or Apostle. We cannot compare Steve Jobs to any of the Prophets that have gained prominence for miracles and money. This is a man who never wrote a song but he transformed the music Industry. He never preached Jesus but through him millions are being reached out and saved. He never sat on a computer to design a cartoon but through him the world of cartoons and animation was forever changed.
This was Steve Jobs.
“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma |
Steve Jobs worked hard at something that he believed in. He was a hard man who was out to leave a mark on earth and he did just that. Whatever he touched, he made it a sure case that it was bound to succeed. I know a lot of people will be quick to raise the point that he was human and he had his own weaknesses. Sure you are right.
What mark are you going to leave on planet earth when you eventually go? Are you doing your best in everything that you are doing? Steve Jobs knew that his time was limited and when he realized that he had cancer he put speed into his work.
I get inspired by Steve Jobs:
Make use of your time with full awareness that it is limited. Living someone else’s time is a waste of time. Go out there and live your life in full. Do whatever you can with whatever you have.
Most people would love to see you living a mediocre life. They will not even bother to ask you to work on yourself. They will be very quick to criticise whatever idea you may have. Keep moving forward in full knowledge that doing your best within a limited time is a satisfying feeling.
What are you working on? What time do you have? If you were to get grievously ill, would you expedite what you are working on?
“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. Steve Jobs - US computer engineer & industrialist (1955 - 2011)
